This item is excellent, have used it multiple time on my elderly cat and soo amazed on how much excess fur comes off her each time. Sometimes my cat will only allow me to brush her a couple of time but in saying that I still manage to get alot off. Definitely worth buying

This is a great product, I’m really pleased I bought this. One of my dogs is a medium hair length retriever who hates being brushed but is prone to tangles and occasional matting and is an active dog often playing in the garden, where he picks up sticks dirt leaves etc. this is the only brush that doesn’t seem to hurt him out of multiple different brushes I have tried that will also remove the deep mats and dirt.

Used it on my British Short Hair cat who is supposed to be relatively maintenance free. (Needs weekly brushing). Not my BSH. She has so much under growth needs daily brushing otherwise fur will start matting. This brush was recommended by a friend and within a week of using gently, all matting had loosened and had all fallen out within 2 weeks. Kitty’s coat is soft shiny and back to its beautiful original look. Didn’t have to call in vet after all.

The comb is good at getting the loose fur from under a thick coat. It's made well so it's strong. I usually use the dematting comb first to get the deep fur up to the surface and then remove it with a standard brush.

I have a Scottish Fold cat, very dense fur, and twice a year, molting is horrendous. She likes to have the comb run through her fur and it's totally painless to remove big lumps of fur, the slicker brush I used previously, would sometimes get caught in the larger bits which caused her some discomfort

If you have a dog with very thick hair & undercoat that matts easily, this is a must. It helps gently break up the Matt’s so you can brush out the hair. I was surprised that my hairy border collie isn’t bothered at all by this. Just wish I’d known about this comb years ago.
